Mark is on his fifth season as a 3x Emmy and WGA Award-winning staff writer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. He recently overshared about growing up Filipino American on Staten Island in My Life, Growing Up Asian in America, a compilation of essays published by MTV Books.

Mark’s half-hour comedy ISO BALL was a NYTVF Official Script selection. He was one of a handful of writers selected for the NBC Late Night Writers Workshop and NBC Scene Showcase, and briefly worked as a writer’s assistant at WWE. Mark has written regularly for Vulture, and has contributed to Slant’d, Funny or Die, Above Average, The Kicker, FLEXX, Weekly Humorist, and Write Label. After studying sketch at UCB, he put up monthly sketch shows for several years at the PIT as a writer for Boogiemanja.
